It’s no secret that recruitment is the lifeblood of any organization. Of course, Greek Life has a very high turnover rate! 

Based on what I’ve learned, it requires planning and coordination. It’s not about how much you can personally recruit but also how to facilitate a process that allows the current brother to recruit effectively. 

By being an organized and effective communicator, one can effectively boost morale and motivation to push the brotherhood to recruit at a higher number. In Fall 2017, I had managed to increase the chapter size by approximately 50%. I didn’t recruit any of these guys. The brotherhood did. 

Undeniably, Greek Life is on the decline across the nation. It’s not like it’s used to be before (for perhaps a good reason). It makes recruitment harder and more challenging. However, if one can effectively recruit under these challenging times, then it’s an accomplishment.
