Among many activities, I enjoy learning. Currently, I am enrolled in a data science course at UCLA extension and learning the R language.

Besides academics, I enjoy outdoor activities, including hiking, body-surfing, ocean fishing, cliff-diving, snow skiing, visiting state and national parks, and trying out new adventures. For instance, I have a goal of swimming in the top five swimming holes of each state.  

Indoors, I thoroughly enjoy landing a jet on 2,750 ft runways in the flight simulator. Of course, landings are the easy part, but to ascend from such a short runway is a challenge I have yet to master. And I am disappointed to discover that flying on a flight simulator makes learning to fly an actual plane harder.
